We started tailgating in 2009, the inaugural season of the new Cowboys Stadium.

We had a grill, a cooler, a Ford SUV, and lots of friends who investigate crimes. It was a humble start, but we had a great time.

To feed and hydrate all of us, we added a big wok to cook up batches of amazing jambalaya (we’re not Cajun, but we can sure cook like one) and a gas-powered blender.

Like the Cowboys, we think bigger and push for excellence each year. During the 2010 training camp, we took our game up a level by picking up a retired ambulance which had served a central Texas EMS unit faithfully for at least nine years. When we found it in July 2010, it looked like…um…well…an old ambulance.

The LeadsOnline team worked with HiTech Wraps in Lewisville to wrap it, complete with a football field on the roof. Dallas’ first “Fanbulance” started coming to life as The Investigator Tailgator!

Since we’d gone that far, we found a guy named Hugo in Lewisville to Cowboy-up the cab. A monster sound system and a big TV in the back brought it up to our high standards for tailgating. We firmly believe that if it’s worth doin’, it’s worth over-doin’!

Now the Dallas Fanbulance is a great place to hang out on game days, particularly if you’re an investigator.
